Primary School English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for an International Primary School based in Chengdu. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2025.

About the school

International school based in Chengdu has both day and boarding options for Chinese nationals and is backed by its UK college. The Chengdu campus offers pre-school, primary and secondary and can accommodate 1200 students. 

Job details

• Teach the school’s English courses to primary school students
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers

• Bachelor’s degree or above in English, Art or other related field
• At least 3 years’ teaching experience in primary years education
• Teaching certificate
• Excellent English communicative skills
