The IT Support Specialist at EMERGE GROW OVERCOME plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our technology infrastructure. This position is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our internal teams, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining system uptime. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience, a strong customer service orientation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, contributing directly to our mission of helping everyone emerge stronger, grow continuously, and overcome challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues to all employees.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents pertaining to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and core business applications.

  • Manage user accounts, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access rights across various systems.

  • Perform routine system maintenance, software installations, updates, and monitor IT infrastructure health.

  • Document support procedures, solutions, and maintain an accurate knowledge base for common issues.

  • Assist in IT asset management, including inventory tracking, deployment, and disposal of equipment.

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of proven experience in an IT Support Specialist or similar technical support role.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and wireless technologies.

  • Experience with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong customer service orientation with clear communication abilities.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) or an Associate's degree in IT/Computer Science preferred.
