Investor Relations Lead

Emergent builds autonomous coding agents that replace traditional software development by generating, testing, and deploying production applications directly from plain-language intent. Our systems run in production at global scale and are used to build millions of real applications.

We're solving the hard part of AI-driven software creation: correctness, reliability, security, and scale in real production systems. The team is built by repeat founders, Olympiad medalists, IIT & IIM alumni, and leaders from Google, Amazon, and Dropbox.

• →Manage communication and engagement with existing and prospective investors
• →Prepare investor updates, board decks, quarterly reports, and other investor-facing materials
• →Work with founders and leadership to gather business updates and translate them into clear investor communication
• →Coordinate investor meetings, calls, follow-ups, and ongoing communication
• →Support fundraising processes, including investor research, pitch materials, data rooms, and diligence
• →Track and report key business, financial, and operating metrics
• →Maintain investor CRM, communication records, and relevant investor documentation
• →Help coordinate cap table and investor-related information
• →Respond to investor requests and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate responses
• →Conduct ad-hoc business analysis and market research to support investor conversations
• →Help ensure all investor-facing information is accurate, consistent, timely, and high quality

• 10+ years of experience in investor relations or a similar role
• Strong financial and business acumen
• Ability to understand complex information and communicate it clearly and concisely
• Comfortable working directly with founders, investors, and senior leadership
• Experience preparing board materials, investor updates, presentations, or financial analyses
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• High ownership and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
• High ownership mindset with a bias for action

• Experience at a high-growth, venture-backed startup
• Exposure to fundraising processes from Seed to Series C+
• Background in investment banking, consulting, VC, or corporate strategy
• Familiarity with SaaS, AI, or technology businesses
• Understanding of startup metrics such as ARR, growth, retention, CAC, LTV, and unit economics
