Junior Finance Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Junior Finance Manager to join their Port Elizabeth team, Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Assist in preparing management accounts Support variance analysis and provide insights into cost control and profitability Assist in the preparation of annual budgets Monitor project budgets against actual spend and highlight variances Support cash flow management and prepare projections Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations Assist with the implementation of financial systems and controls Ensure accurate record-keeping for all financial transactions Requirements Grade 12 Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a finance or accounting environment Proven experience in preparing financial statements, management accounts, budgets, and cash flow forecasts Experience in variance analysis, cost control, and financial reporting Previous experience supervising, mentoring, and managing a small team of 2-3 junior finance staff Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and reconciliations Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial accounting software/ERP systems
