Engineer I, Product Test Engineering

The Role: 

We are seeking a motivated CMP Product Test Engineer to join our team in TTC, Hsinchu. In this role, you will support R&D and process development activities by assisting with the execution of wafer processing experiments, data collection and equipment operation. And providing timely feedback to engineering teams. You will work closely with engineers and scientists to develop technical knowledge and gain hands-on experience in CMP technologies and cleanroom operations. 

This position offers an excellent opportunity for early-career engineers to build expertise in semiconductor process development, metrology, and data analysis while contributing to next-generation CMP technology programs. 

In this role you will: 

• Support the preparation and execution of CMP process experiments and wafer characterization activities.  

• Operate CMP polishing and metrology equipment following established procedures and safety guidelines.  

• Collect, organize, and analyze experimental data under the guidance of senior engineers.  

• Assist with troubleshooting basic process and equipment issues.  

• Support process development, optimization, and feasibility studies.  

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of experimental activities and results.  

• Participate in cleanroom continuous improvement and safety initiatives.  

• Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and operational standards. 

Traits we believe make a strong candidate: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics or a related field 

• 0-2 years’ experience working in semiconductor manufacturing, CMP process, wafer fabrication, or cleanroom environments.

• Knowledge of semiconductor processes, CMP, or metrology is preferred but not required.
