Overnight Security Officer

Chico Hot Springs Resort is looking for a dependable, self-motivated Loss Prevention Agent (Night Security Officer) to help keep our historic property safe, clean, and running smoothly overnight. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys quiet, independent work and takes pride in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for guests and team members alike.

  Patrol the resort grounds to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.

  Monitor for fire and safety hazards, ensuring all buildings and storage areas are properly secured.

• →

  Respond to guest or employee needs with professionalism, calm, and care.

• →

  Document shift activity and incidents to keep management informed.

• →

  Maintain property upkeep during overnight hours, including taking out trash, picking up litter, and ensuring common areas are clean and orderly.

  Assist in emergencies and coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when needed.

  Represent Chico Hot Springs with courtesy, tact, and professionalism in all situations.

• Reliable and self-directed, with the ability to work independently overnight (9pm–7am).

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Physically able to walk and stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and navigate stairs.

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Basic computer skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Current CPR / First Aid certifications, or the ability to obtain training.
• Valid Drivers License.
