Provides efficient and effective responses to inquiries from workers’ compensation insurers, employers, patients, and other stakeholders regarding workers’ compensation matters. Acts as a liaison between physicians, workers’ compensation insurers, employers, and patients by providing clarification related to care plans, return-to-work instructions, documentation needs, and other workers’ compensation-related issues.
Supports the program manager and team members with administrative and operational tasks, including maintaining hard copy and electronic files, mailing documents, processing and organizing medical records, obtaining notarization as directed, and assisting with the completion and filing of required documents with the Department of Labor and Industry. Assists with other departmental needs as assigned. Ensures accurate and timely handling of workers’ compensation documentation and communications.
This role requires the ability to focus in a busy work environment, strong attention to detail, good time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and department needs.
- This role is a hybrid position that offers 1-2 days of remote work weekly after training is complete, however, candidate must reside in the Duluth area and be onsite at least 2-3 days per week.
- Training for this role will be entirely onsite in Duluth.
