Toyota is seeking a Quality Engineering Specialist to ensure connected products and services meet high standards of reliability, performance, and compliance. The role involves designing test plans, investigating issues, monitoring quality metrics, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement. Candidates should have a technical background, 3+ years’ relevant experience, automotive connected-product expertise, and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

→Develop, implement, and maintain testing processes to determine product efficiency, reliability, and performance.
→Create test plans and test cases. Monitor test progress according to plan.
→Trace, investigate, and document issues in development or production to identify their root causes.
→Set, track, and report on Quality metrics and dashboards.
→Identify inefficiencies in workflows or systems and proposing strategies to optimize business processes.

In R&D Connected Technologies, you will be at the forefront of Toyota’s transformation into a mobility company, planning and building digital products and connected user experiences. Your role will be to oversee engineering processes to ensure products and services meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
You have a technical background (Computer science or engineering)
You have experience in automotive connected product or services
You have experience working with smartphones applications and smartphones makers
You have minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar business and functional role
You have proven quality management knowledge
You have a technical background in building connected solutions
You have a proactive and challenging mindset
You are adaptable in a rapidly evolving environment
