About this Role:
Behind every seamless workplace experience is strong people operations—and this role makes it all happen. You’ll own the moving parts that keep HR running smoothly, from payroll and compliance to ESOPs, benefits, documentation, and policies. If you enjoy bringing structure to complexity and finding smarter ways to make processes faster, cleaner, and more efficient, you’ll fit right in.
• Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing on Keka, including inputs, computation, disbursement, and reconciliation with full accuracy and timely delivery.
• Administer the ESOP programme by maintaining grant registers on EquityList and Excel, coordinating exercise requests, and communicating vesting milestones to employees.
• Ensure statutory compliance across PF, ESIC, PT, and gratuity through timely filings, audit-ready documentation, and proactive risk flagging.
• Own all employee documentation, including drafting, maintaining, and version-controlling agreements, offer letters, policies, and HR documents for accuracy and consistency.
• Manage employee benefits operations covering group health and term life insurance, including endorsements, renewals, and employee claims/query support.
• Maintain POSH compliance by ensuring the Internal Committee is active, managing the complaints portal, and completing annual filings and case processes correctly.
• Track and implement policy updates based on labour law changes, ensuring internal policies remain current and effectively communicated to employees.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities in routine HR operations through tooling, AI-assisted workflows, and process redesign to reduce manual effort.
• End-to-end payroll management independently on Keka, including variable pay, reimbursements, TDS computation, and monthly reconciliation.
• Advanced Excel proficiency with compensation trackers, ESOP registers, and compliance dashboards using VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and nested formulas.
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance including PF, ESIC, PT, gratuity, and labour law basics, with ability to identify issues needing legal escalation.
• Hands-on ESOP administration experience covering grant registers, vesting schedules, cliff tracking, exercise processing, and EquityList/equivalent tool management.
• Familiarity with POSH compliance, including Internal Committee setup, complaints portal management, and timely annual filings.
• Experience managing employee benefits such as group health and term life insurance, including endorsements, renewals, broker coordination, and claim support.
• Skilled in drafting and maintaining employee documentation including offer letters, employment agreements, policy documents, and HR correspondence with legal accuracy.
• Strong process orientation with proven ability to build workflows, maintain clean records, and manage high-volume deadline-driven HR operations.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain audit readiness across HR operations — records, filings, and documentation are kept in a state where they can withstand internal or external scrutiny at any point, not just during scheduled audits
• Experience working in high-growth startup environments where HR operations scaled rapidly and processes were built or restructured dynamically.
• Proactive use of AI tools to automate repetitive HR tasks, including document drafting, policy summarisation, and tracker automation
