Tanzania developed Vision 2050 which became operational in June 2026, given this new plan coupled with the changing geopolitical context, the UN system requested the government of the United Republic of Tanzania to extend the UNSDCF by one year, ending in 2028, the request was granted, FAO country Programming Framework was also extended to align with the new dates of UNSDCF
