Key Responsibilities

• Support business development activities by identifying and qualifying opportunities across a broad range of sectors, including financial services, fintech, e-commerce, professional services, technology, and other strategically aligned industries.
• Contribute to commercial growth by sourcing and qualifying prospective clients through various introducer channels, referral networks, corporate service providers, professional advisers, strategic partners, and other business development initiatives, while maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities.
   
• Support the management of the commercial pipeline, ensuring opportunities are accurately recorded and progressed in line with the Company's commercial strategy and risk appetite.
• Attend industry events and develop referral partnerships with introducers, brokers, and consultants. 
• Maintain accurate pipeline records, follow up on prospects, and assist in re-engaginge incomplete onboarding applications. 
• Act as a liaison between prospects and the Onboarding team to support account activation and resolve onboarding issues. 
  
• Contact clients with negative balances or declining transaction volumes to promote account activity and support client retention. 
• Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities and escalate them to senior commercial team members.
• Provide support to the Onboarding team and undertake additional tasks as assigned. 
• Gather market intelligence, client feedback, and competitor insights to support commercial initiatives. 
• Ensure compliance with AML/CFT requirements, regulatory obligations, and internal policies. 
• Pre-screen prospects against risk criteria and escalate AML, sanctions, fraud, or reputational concerns where necessary. 
  
• Maintain accurate records, prepare pipeline and activity reports, and assist with commercial analyses and management reporting. 
  
  
  

Requirements

• A minimum diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Economics, Marketing or a related field.
  
• 0–2 years’ experience in relationship management, sales, customer service, onboarding or financial services.
• Relevant internship experience is acceptable.
• Basic understanding of financial services and payments.
• Customer relationship management and onboarding processes.
• Basic KYC/KYB and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused approach.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Commercial awareness.
• Ability to build relationships and work to targets.
