We are looking for a friendly, professional Bar Host to join our team at the Crosby Street Hotel, a 3 Michelin Key property in the heart of SoHo 

As a Bar Host, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, setting the tone for an exceptional dining and bar experience. You will greet guests on arrival, answer the telephone, take reservations, field emails, and ensure that our guests are seated promptly and in accordance with their preferences.

• Greet all guests upon arrival with a polished, approachable demeanor.
• Provide guests with estimated waiting times while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude during peak or challenging service moments.
• Seat guests according to their preferences while carefully balancing customer flow across service stations and manage the reservation book via OpenTable
• Thank guests as they leave, invite them to return, and relay any immediate feedback to the manager on duty.
• Maintain seamless communication between the bar, restaurant, and other hotel departments.
• Answer incoming calls, manage reservation systems, and field email correspondence promptly.
• Actively promote sister Firmdale Hotels and associated dining concepts.
• Ensure punctuality and personal responsibility in all tasks.

• A genuinely friendly, warm, and welcoming presence with a natural flair for hospitality.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Flexible schedule including AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain high standard of personal hygiene and appearance at all times.
• Ability to stand and move comfortably for long periods.
• OpenTable certification or prior experience is preferred, though not required
