→Makes recommendations to the Human Resources Manager; organizes and administers all activities of the Human Resources Department, including development of department goals, objectives, plans, procedures, and systems.
→Provides guidance to employees and managers in the interpretation of personnel policies and procedures.
→Recruits, hires, trains, and coaches Human Resources staff to meet established credit union and department objectives.
→Assists the Human Resources Manager in the communication of personnel policies, procedures, and benefit plans to ensure compliance and understanding.
→Coordinates and oversees credit union recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, background checks, and, under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, makes appropriate employment offers.
→Administers benefits programs, including claims resolution, change reporting, invoice approvals, annual review for cost effectiveness, and employee communications.
→Administers workers' compensation claims, staff leaves of absence, work restrictions, and return-to-work processes between employees and the credit union.
→Organizes team-building activities, wellness events, and social gatherings to foster camaraderie and belonging.
