About the Opportunity

Are you a commercially savvy procurement professional with a passion for travel and supplier partnerships?

As the Asia Pacific Contracting Manager, you will play a critical role in securing competitive, high-quality direct contracts across hotels, transfers, tours, and experiences throughout the APAC region.

You will combine strategic negotiation skills, commercial insight, and supplier relationship management to drive margin growth and ensure our brands remain competitive in market.

Working closely with Revenue Management, Distribution, Operations, Technology, Product, and Marketing teams, you'll have a direct impact on commercial performance and customer outcomes.

This role can be based in Brisbane (preferred) or Sydney.

What you will do:

Oversee sourcing and contracting activities for hotel, transfer, day tour, and experience suppliers across APAC leisure markets
Secure competitive rates, value-adds, and contract terms aligned to customer and brand requirements
Support strategic supplier negotiations, contract escalations, and commercial problem-solving initiatives
Manage supplier relationships and lead performance reviews to strengthen commercial partnerships
Monitor key commercial metrics including Total Contract Margin (TCM), win/direct percentage, production trends, availability, and rate integrity
Provide commercial insights and market intelligence to Revenue Management teams to support pricing and yield strategies
Collaborate with Operations, Distribution, and Technology teams to ensure contracted content is accurately integrated and performing effectively
Partner with Product and Marketing teams to support supplier promotions, campaigns, and content quality improvements
Analyse commercial performance data and provide recommendations to procurement leadership and key stakeholders
Ensure contracts meet legal, risk, compliance, ethical, privacy, and governance requirements
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across contracting processes, supplier onboarding, and procurement tools

What you will need:

2-3 years' experience in hotel procurement, market analysis, or a similar commercial role
Proven experience in competitive analysis and market intelligence
Strong negotiation, supplier management, and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience analysing commercial performance metrics and identifying growth opportunities
Experience working with booking platforms such as Helio, Salesforce, HotelHub, and ideally Gimmonix
Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of pricing, margins, and competitive positioning
Analytical and data-driven decision-making capability
Excellent relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skills
Ability to work across multiple systems and quickly learn new platforms
Wholesale, retail, or travel industry experience preferred
Tertiary qualification in Business, Hospitality, or a related field desirable
