Applications Engineer

Researches, plans, and designs mechanical and electromechanical products and systems, and directs and coordinates activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical products and systems.

Works on routine problems and projects. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.  Contact with others is primarily internal.

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in Mechanical Engineering or closely related technical field and 2-4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

• Proficiency with Solidworks.

• Ability to multi-task and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to interface efficiently in a cross-functional group in an engineering and production environment.

• Good mechanical aptitude.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

The anticipated hiring range for this position is $80,000 to $150,000 per year.

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
