COUNTERTOP INSTALLATION APPRENTICE

FLOFORM Countertops is expanding into Bozeman, Montana, and we're looking for a Countertop Installation Apprentice to join our growing team.

This is an opportunity to learn the countertop installation trade from an experienced Lead Installer while working on real residential and commercial projects.

As a Countertop Installation Apprentice, you'll work alongside an experienced Lead Installer and learn how professional countertop installations are completed from start to finish.

You'll learn to:

• Assist with installation of quartz, granite, solid surface and other countertop materials
• Prepare job sites and materials for installation
• Learn proper measuring, fitting, leveling and installation techniques
• Assist with removing existing countertops
• Assist with plumbing disconnect/reconnect when required
• Safely handle and transport large countertop materials
• Use installation tools and equipment
• Troubleshoot problems alongside experienced installers
• Work professionally in customers' homes and commercial job sites
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
• Load and unload materials, tools and equipment
• Help maintain company vehicles and installation equipment

We're looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and dependable
• Hardworking and willing to learn
• Comfortable working with their hands
• Mechanically inclined or interested in construction
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
• Able to learn measurements and basic math
• Detail-oriented and committed to quality
• Professional when working in customers' homes
• Comfortable working as part of a two-person installation team
• Able to safely lift and carry 100–200 lbs. with assistance
• Comfortable with physical work including lifting, bending, kneeling and twisting
• Willing to travel locally, with occasional overnight travel
• Able to work overtime when needed
• Possesses a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Has reliable transportation to and from work

You don't need years of experience to get started.

If you've worked in construction, carpentry, flooring, cabinetry, remodeling, roofing, landscaping, warehouse operations, delivery, or another hands-on trade, your experience may transfer well.

More importantly, we're looking for someone who shows up, works hard, pays attention to detail and wants to learn.
