In Home Sales Associate Flooring and Design

This is a role for a sales professional who knows how to earn trust, demonstrate real value, and help customers make a confident decision of choosing to partner with us for their flooring project.

THE ROLE

Floor Coverings International is the highest-rated flooring company in the Pensacola - Destin - Fairhope area, with 375+ five-star Google reviews. We bring a mobile showroom with 3,000+ samples directly to the customer's home, pair it with a consultative design process, and back it with expert installation.

As our in-home sales professional for the Destin market, you meet homeowners where they are, literally and figuratively. You listen, ask the right questions, and build a recommendation they can feel good about. Then you close it. Not because you pushed them over the line, but because you showed them exactly why we are the right choice.

Most salespeople fight for the sale. Our people make the case so well that price stops being the only conversation. The brand is proven. The process is dialed in. The product is premium. Your job is to bring the expertise and conviction that makes it a no-brainer for the customer to choose us.

WHO SUCCEEDS HERE

You are persuasive without being pushy. You are a strong listener who also knows when and how to lead. You build genuine rapport and back it with product knowledge and professionalism that earns the sale before you ever ask for it. You know how to follow up, and manage a sales pipeline.

You are also competitive. You care about earning business because you care about doing the job well. You don't need someone standing over you. You hold yourself to a higher standard than most managers would anyway. In-home or outside sales experience is preferred. A track record of results is required.

The extra step isn't something we ask for. It's something you can't help but take.

WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE

You drive the mobile showroom to appointments across the your service area, using both company-provided leads and opportunities you build yourself. You meet homeowners in their space, understand the project, present the right solution, and close the sale. Then you hand off to a production team that delivers on what you promised. Evenings and some weekends are part of the job. We work when our customers are home. The rest of the schedule is yours to manage.


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base draw: $55,000 (For the right person, this should not be your expectation, more of an onramp)
Annual expectation for a strong performer: $95,000 to $110,000
No earnings ceiling

- Company van (mobile showroom) with all gas covered
- Cell phone allowance
- Bonus opportunities on top of commission
- Annual company convention in Mexico for top performers
- Paid training on the FCI system
- Paid vacation, holidays, and sick days
