Short Order Cook

Calling all Steak-Umm makers, Grilled Cheese flippers, and TV dinner micro-wavers! We need you, and your quick, quality cooking!

Responsibilities Include:

• Set up and stock all work areas

• Clean food preparation equipment, work areas, and counters or table

• Food prep
• Grill, cook, and fry foods cook foods requiring short preparation times, according to customer requirements.
• Organize time and work so that items served together are finished at the same time.

• Stock inventory and supplies

• Getting the correct order to the correct Customer

• Inventory management and control
• Making sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards

• Providing support &/or relief to other Team Members as needed
• Misc. duties assigned by the Manager(s) on duty

Qualifications:
• Applicants should be prepared to work under pressure with the ability to meet production deadlines or during periods of high volume.
• May be required to deliver catering orders and or setup, will be required to receive, count and organize pick up storeroom items.
• Having 2-3 years of Kitchen experience, conversant with international cuisine & providing assistance to the Chef De Partie, and others as directed.

The above job is available to persons seeking Full-Time and Part-Time hours. Preference will be provided to applicants able to work flexible hours which may include shift work, weekends and holidays. Successful candidates have the opportunity for employment hours and experience at other FoodHub and Four Star locations including the new Drive Thru, and may be assigned to perform duties at different FoodHub locations as needed.
