Finance Executive

Your role will be part of the Finance team, with a focus on deciphering data to generate insights that support commercialization efforts and business decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:
If you are excited to be part of a small and high caliber team in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you. Your job responsibilities will include -

● Process outgoing payments and and ensure that the bank and payables ledger is reconciled
● Monitor cash-flow of the organisation by maintaining updated records of the funds in the bank
● Check and prepare invoices, as well as compute deferred revenue.
● Calculate commissions for Sales teams
● Perform daily financial transactions including verifying supporting documents and
liaising with other departments to ensure accuracy of data
● Process transactions for month end and prepare the accounts for review
● Assist in compiling financial info for reporting purposes
● Identify and investigate irregularities and variances in the monthly financial reports
● Ad hoc projects from the finance department ie. process improvements, launch of new products that would impact the finance operations and reporting format.

Who we are looking for
A team player who will think-out-of-the-box and is passionate about making a difference by digitising the F&B industry across Asia.

● 7 to 8 years experience in the accounting field, not necessarily to have a Degree
● Accounts Executive background, preferably have good knowledge of accounting journal entries and have experience in closing the books
● Sharp eye for identifying irregularities,
● Able to work independently especially when liaising with the auditors and tax agent
● Have a hungry attitude to learn and contribute to the team's success.
● Excellent excel skills to pull and organise large chunk of data for processing and analysis
