Responsibilities

→Conduct research on various international tax matters, incl. case law.
→Track changes of tax laws, and regulations in countries where the company is represented to stay updated with relevant legislation changes.
→Contribute to the analysis of tax implications on business decisions.
→Aid in identifying and minimising tax risks.
→Assist in managing tax and compliance aspects within the Group.
→Help in developing tax structures for our international entities.
→Assist in preparing tax returns for various jurisdictions.
→Contribute to internal and external tax audits.

Requirements

BA/BS or MA/MS degree in economics, business, or other related field.
2 year + of work experience in international tax (experience in the Big 4 or top-niche boutique consulting firms will be preferable).
Strong desire to dive into and explore new countries' tax legislation.
Strong research skills (i. a. using databases like IBFD, Tax Analyst, CCH Answer Connect, etc.).
Basic understanding of international tax principles, familiarity with tax treaties, key tax concepts and acronyms such as OECD, BEPS, ATAD, and DAC.
English proficiency (upper-intermediate, advanced), with strong communication skills – is a must.
Practical experience with MS Excel.
Tech-savvy, demonstrating openness and adaptability to new technologies.

The Genesis for Ukraine Foundation was established in April 2022 in response to the full-scale invasion and the need to act systematically and for the long term. Its focus is on supporting Genesis employees and their family members serving in the military, helping the country, and developing educational and veteran-focused projects that facilitate reintegration into civilian life. The Foundation carries out large-scale partnership initiatives. These include Ukraine's first "Veterans' Master's Program," an Innovation Space with a 3D-printing farm at KPI, entrepreneurship training, and grant programs for veterans, as well as other projects that create new opportunities for people and the country's economy.
