We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Geologist to join our team. The successful candidate will lead complex field and office operations, managing technical reporting, data interpretation, exploration and development drilling programs, contractor performance, and regulatory compliance. This role involves managing project budgets, guiding program implementation, and serving as a technical lead and mentor. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drilling & Field Operations: Lead and manage exploration and development drilling operations. Direct and supervise all drilling contractors, well logging contractors, and surveyors.
• Site Preparation & Planning: Oversee dirtwork, drill pad preparation, and strategic drill hole location planning.
• Geological & Technical Analysis: Apply advanced scientific and geologic analytical techniques to complete drill cuttings descriptions, geophysical well log interpretation, mineralization mapping, resource estimation, and casing and well completion planning.
• Leadership & Report Authorization: Direct, review, and approve technical plans and reports. Provide direction, oversight, and mentorship to staff-level geologists, engineers, scientists, and field teams.
• Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Oversee safety management protocols and guarantee compliance maintenance with applicable Federal and State rules and regulations.
• Landowner & Lease Administration: Oversee compliance maintenance of leases and landowner agreements, serving as a key liaison.
• Database Management: Supervise and maintain geological, geochemical, and geophysical databases to ensure data integrity and real-time updates.
• Strategic Communication: Maintain high levels of communication with senior management and key stakeholders, proactively addressing critical issues that affect workflow, production goals, or program schedules.
• Mobility: Travel and field work required. Must be willing to relocate to Project Locations as needed.

• Typically requires a Bachelors degree, Masters degree or PhD in a scientific or related technical field and progressively complex scientific experience as follows; nine or more years experience with a Bachelors degree, seven or more years experience with a Masters degree, and four or more with a PhD. Equivalent scientific experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
• BS in Geology or equivalent, MS, PhD in Geology preferred.  
• Experience: 7+ years of progressive professional geology and project management experience. Professional Geologist (PG) registration/license preferred. Previous mining experience valued, particularly in-situ recovery (ISR) processing.
• Core Knowledge: Advanced technical mastery of geological principles, including stratigraphy and sedimentology, structural geology, hydrology, and geochemistry. Uranium mineralisation knowledge and interpretation desired.  Hydrology and/or groundwater experience useful.
• Software & Technical Proficiency: Expert proficiency in GIS mapping software, 3D geological modeling, and geophysical well log analysis and interpretation. Familiarity with Micromine, ArcGIS and WellCAD desirable.
• Management & Oversight: Proven track record in task-level budget and schedule management, project cost controls, and drilling supplies management.
