Gensco currently has an amazing opportunity available to join our Technical Services Team as a HVAC Field Service Support Specialist onsite at our Corporate Office in Tacoma, Washington!

  • Provide excellent customer service to current and potential Gensco Customers
  • Perform a broad range of Field Service support responsibilities
  • Assist Customers and Gensco Team Members with equipment support, communication of product information, product & service training, warranty claim fulfillment, and factory support

Responsibilities

  • →Customer Service - respond to incoming Consumer assistance calls and provide a single point of contact for Customers.
  • →Dealer support - communicate any product recalls, reworks, or necessary field modifications.
  • →Technical Training - compile and distribute product technical training schedules, assist with registration, and arrange facilities and services.
  • →Warranty Claim Fulfillment - assist in processing all Customers’ warranty credit requests in accordance with factory and Company policies.
  • →Factory Support - serve as the single point of contact for Consumer issues and assign Consumer concerns to the appropriate contact person.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • A 2- or 4-year college degree preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in retail HVAC with Dealer service background preferred
  • Prior direct consumer service experience desirable
  • Excellent knowledge of HVAC industry
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and high degree of personal integrity
  • Able to work sitting or standing and move freely throughout t facility
  • Able to lift or carry equipment, supplies and inventory on a frequent basis
  • Able to use tact and diplomacy in sensitive situations
