Job Opportunity: Lead Carpenter
Location: Sweetgrass, Saskatchewan
Shift: 10 days on, 4 days off

Are you a skilled carpenter with leadership experience, a strong work ethic, and a passion for quality construction? Join our dynamic team as a Lead Carpenter, where you’ll work alongside our Site Superintendent and construction crews to deliver high-quality projects safely and efficiently.

• Lead construction work in alignment with project plans and priorities.
• Mentor and guide trades workers, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Oversee daily responsibilities, schedules, and crew attendance.
• Maintain compliance with safety policies and high-quality standards.
• Communicate project updates and resolve on-site issues promptly.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, teams, and contractors.

• Experience: 5+ years in construction with a strong carpentry background.
• Skills: Ability to read blueprints, lead teams, and organize effectively.
• Certification: Journeyman Carpenter Ticket (optional but an asset). Valid safety certifications (First Aid, CSTS, WHMIS, Work Hub Orientation, etc.) and a valid driver’s license.
• Characteristics:
  • Motivated self-starter with problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communicator, both verbally and electronically.
  • Organized and adaptable with a “can-do” attitude.
  • Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in variable conditions.
