Responsibilities

- →Provides inspection, coaching and feedback to motivate, differentiate and improve performance, while assessing talent and building bench strength for roles across the organization
- →Delivers results by effectively prioritizing, inspecting and appropriately delegating team work
- →Manage a team of centralized SBL specialists while also providing direct coverage to a defined territory
- →Cultivate relationships with Merrill advisors to identify credit opportunities, support client outreach and implement SBL loan facilities
- →Develop and execute lending strategy and initiatives, in partnership with Merrill market leadership, to achieve SBL growth objectives
- →8+ years of experience in commercial lending, wealth management lending, or delivering wealth management solutions to clients
- →Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Merrill leadership, advisors, and key business partners to deliver Securities-Based Lending (SBL) solutions to wealth management clients
- →Strong verbal and written communication
- →Proven coaching and talent development capabilities, with the ability to motivate and enhance individual and team performance
- →Highly organized, with the ability to manage and prioritize business development activities across multiple Merrill markets
- →Strong partnership and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively across underwriting, risk, and other business functions
- →FINRA Series 7, 63 (or 66), and 24 licenses are required. Candidates not currently licensed must obtain all required licenses within 120 days of hire
