Maintenance Coordinator Materials & Distribution - 1st Shift (Onsite)

• High School diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

• Mechanical, Electrical, and Tool & Die procurement knowledge
• Experience with vendor relationships
• Knowledge and proficiency utilizing CMMS databases, procurement platforms, and scheduling tools

Provide technical/administrative support to the Mechanical Trades Support Group directly handling a unique supply chain to include materials and distribution, procurement and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) oversight.

• →Under minimal supervision perform varied and complex procurement activities
• →Maintain and replenish all maintenance stockroom and VMI supplies  
• →Coordinate workflow and procurement requirements with off-shift employees
• →Work with engineers to review drawings to obtain information regarding procurement
• →Communicate delivery changes to suppliers
• →Communicate orders to suppliers and prepare purchase orders and purchase requisitions
• →Assist with reviewing and preparing monthly reports and audits.

• Must have a strong attendance record

• Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills

• Must be able to work hours outside of the regular shift

• Must have good mechanical aptitude

• Must be able to wear a respirator

• The position requires ascending, descending stairs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, twisting, overhead reach, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
