Maintenance Manager

• Bachelor’s degree STEM fields preferred.
• Troubleshooting and maintenance experience.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain machine tools.
• Project management experience and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with problem-solving tools such as root cause and corrective action (RCCA).
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/Six Sigma).
• Experience using Microsoft Office, Solumina, SAP, or similar MRP/ERP systems.
• Ability to work and effectively communicate with all levels of management, shop personnel and customers.

Pratt and Whitney Asheville is looking for a hardworking and high-energy Maintenance Manager - Machining at our Asheville, NC turbine airfoil facility. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of salaried personnel, maintenance technicians and outside contractors to construct, maintain, and repair equipment in the manufacturing shop.

• →Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years' experience in Facilities Maintenance, Machine Tool Service, Engineering, Manufacturing or general Aerospace Aftermarket industry experience;
• →or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
• →Must have experience leading a team in a manufacturing or production environment.
