Senior Systems Engineer - International CH-53K Product Owner (Onsite)

• Collins Aerospace’s Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) experience. 
• Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience.
• Experience (military or civil aircraft) in avionics systems. 
• Working knowledge / understanding of data busses and protocols (Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553B, and ARINC-429) 
• Strong organizational skills including associated documentation. 
• Communicate with a wide variety of technical and management personnel as well customers.

Are you ready to shape the future of aerospace with cutting-edge technology? Join our Rotary Wing Platform Systems Team within the Military Avionics & Helos group at Collins Aerospace. Here, you will play a crucial role in developing and testing avionics for International  CH-53K programs. This dynamic position offers the flexibility to push the boundaries of technology, enhancing the capabilities for CAAS/AMS. This role requires a highly motivated person as the Platform Systems Product Owner (PO) for the International  CH-53K. The PO needs to be a self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as a member of the broader team.

• →You will lead the Platform Systems team for priority and schedule regarding development scope for the International  CH-53K programs. 
• →You will perform Platform Systems Engineering (PSE) activities for the International  CH-53K program, including requirements/test procedure development, design updates, execution of test procedures, etc.. Tools used are DOORS, JIRA, PREP, Microsoft, SVN and others. 
• →You will be responsible for the cost, scope, direction, & overall team operation during different International  CH-53K updates.  
• →You will be in charge of completing the Increment plan for the Platform Systems team during the Rotary Wing department wide planning events.
• →You will navigate through the bids & pursuits, adhering to Collins Processes
• →You will be the dedicated Cost Account Manager (CAM) for all Platform Systems activities within the International  CH-53K programs.
• →You will design system solutions, ensuring the integration of Collins Aerospace products into complex upgrade programs for the International  CH-53K program.   

• →You will deepen your understanding of aircraft systems engineering, gaining insights into advanced integration and development processes.  

• →You will enhance your leadership skills, directing critical implementations and influencing major project outcomes.  

• →You will expand your professional network, working alongside avionics experts and customer. 

• →You will have the unique opportunity to build customer relationships with the International  CH-53K customer. 

• →Experience with DOORS, PREP, JIRA and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to obtain a US Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance. 
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3 years of experience
