Job Description

Job Title: Data Warehouse Architect 3
Job Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

Support and maintain enterprise data warehouse environments and ETL processes.
Work with Teradata data warehouse systems, security, access, and data integration.
Manage data warehouse code, DDL promotions, and change management activities.
Support Common Batch Framework and Common Scheduler processes.
Troubleshoot complex data warehouse, ETL, Linux, and system issues.
Perform data architecture reviews, audits, data profiling, and data quality validation.
Support ETL workflows and data loading from multiple source systems.
Monitor system performance and support system upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for data architecture and processes.
Support data cleansing, standardization, and data quality initiatives.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies.
Support security reviews, user access audits, and remediation of audit findings.
Provide technical guidance and training to development teams.
Work closely with developers, stakeholders, leadership, vendors, and technical teams.

Requirement:

3+ years of Teradata experience.
2+ years of Linux experience preferred.
Strong English communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience with data warehouse, ETL, and data integration processes.
Experience troubleshooting complex data and system issues.
Experience supporting data from multiple source systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong decision-making and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with cloud-based BI tools is preferred.
