Agronomy Plant Operator
What You Will Do
As an Agronomy Plant Operator/Controller, you’ll be at the heart of our agronomy operations—helping
ensure everything runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You’ll work closely with a supportive
team and have the opportunity to make a real impact every day. Here’s what your role will include:
• Keep things moving by loading spray rigs, tender trucks, and customer equipment with precision
and care
• Manage inventory and ensure accurate tracking of incoming and outgoing agronomy products
• Support our customers with friendly, knowledgeable service and quick problem-solving
• Stay safe and compliant by following DOT, OSHA, EPA, and company guidelines
• Operate and maintain equipment for dry and liquid fertilizer, anhydrous ammonia, and crop
protection products
• Asssit with seed operations, including bulk seed handling and equipment support
• Train and mentor teammates on equipment use and safety procedures
• Stay sharp by attending training sessions and keeping up with product updates
• Keep your workspace clean and organized, contributing to a safe and efficient environment
• Take on special projects that help improve operations and support your team
What You Will Need
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker
endorsements
• 1A Chemical Applicator License (or ability to obtain)
• Mechanical aptitude, including basic welding, cutting, and equipment maintenance
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
• Familiarity with crop protection and nutrient products
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions
