PRODUCTION ASSISTANT (P/T) - WAND

As a Production Assistant, you’ll gain valuable experience operating studio cameras, working with professional production equipment, and collaborating with experienced directors and technical staff in a fast-paced broadcast environment. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in building their skills and growing a television career.
The salary for this position is $15.00/hr.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Operate cameras/studio floor directing and other production-related tasks for various newscasts and projects.
• Maintain appearance of studio including cleaning of set and floors.
• Basic maintenance and operation of props, cameras, prompters, sets, and other production equipment.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Some video production and television studio experience is preferred but not required.
• The successful candidate will be a fast learner with strong communication skills and able to work early mornings, late evenings, holidays, flexible hours, and weekends.
• Can deal with the stresses and pressures of time-sensitive newscast production.
