This position oversees Family Medicine, Diabetes Education, Women's Health, Palliative Care, Walk-In Clinics, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Family Planning and Rural Health Clinics at our West Burlington, Fort Madison, and Mount Pleasant campuses.

Responsibilities

→Leadership: Leads by example, following code of conduct and Credo. Successfully builds collaborative relationships. Manage according to Industry or Internal and mutually agreed to benchmarks. Integrate Systems thinking into the daily activities of the departments.
→People Management: Mentors, advises, and coaches people. Facilitates problem solving and conflict resolution. Manages departmental personnel processes, including performance appraisals, staff recruitment, selection and training. Direct, supervise and evaluate work activities of managerial and supervisory and/or other personnel. Establish work schedules and assignments for providers and staff, according to workload, space and equipment availability.
→Facility Planning: Organizes and manages the human and physical resources of the practices to achieve input, buy-in and optimal performance. Monitor use of services , facilities, and staff to ensure effective use of resources and assess the need for additional staff. Inspect facilities and recommend building or equipment modifications to ensure emergency readiness and compliance. Develop and implement organizational policies and procedures for the facility or medical unit.
→Finance: Conduct and administer fiscal operations, including financial, operational and budget reporting. Maintain proper functioning of day-to-day operations, budget accountability and compliance accountability. Works on compensation and contract matters with organizational personnel.
→Quality and Continuous Improvement: Establish objectives and evaluative or operational criteria for units they manage. Consult with medical, business, and community groups to discuss service problems. Respond to community needs and enhance public relations. Maintain awareness of advances in medicine, technology, government regulations.
