Are you passionate about data, analytics, and solving complex business problems? Great West Casualty Company is seeking a motivated and curious Data Science Intern to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience applying data science and analytics techniques in a business environment while working alongside experienced professionals.

As a Data Science Intern, you will help analyze data, uncover trends, and develop insights that support strategic business decisions. You'll gain exposure to real-world datasets, analytical tools, and projects that have a meaningful impact on our organization.

• →Assist with collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets from multiple sources.
• →Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate key business insights.
• →Support predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and machine learning initiatives.
• →Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within data to support decision-making.
• →Collaborate with business partners to understand data needs and provide analytical solutions.
• →Assist in validating data quality and improving data integrity processes.
• →Present findings and recommendations to team members and stakeholders.
• →Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for working with data.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
• Experience with SQL and familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R preferred.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar platforms is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
