greenteg AG offers high-tech thermal sensing solutions for an international customer base. Besides marketing industrial sensors for laser power metering and for assessing insulation properties of buildings, we also offer a unique core body temperature measurement solution (CALERA®) for wearable devices. The technology empowers customers with a wide range of innovative applications such as improving sports performance, continuous and non-invasive patient monitoring, ovulation tracking, sleep analysis or early detection of diseases.

In collaboration with the Hospital of Lucerne, we are currently conducting a clinical study to evaluate the use of the technology as a fever monitoring device. The project, which is funded by Innosuisse, aims to collect high-quality clinical data to assess the accuracy and reliability of continuous, non-invasive core body temperature monitoring.

  • Recruitment of patients for the study.
  • Data collection according to the study protocol (e.g. obtaining informed consent, providing instructions to participants, applying sensors, and carrying out regular check-ins).
  • Data management and basic data quality checks.
  • Organising and maintaining study equipment.
  • Literature research related to fever physiology and core body temperature measurement.
