Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered more than ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised more than $178mm of funding from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, and others.
Grow Therapy is hiring a Program Manager, AI Operations Enablement to join our newly formed AI Center of Excellence (CoE)- the engine behind Grow's AI transformation within Operations. This is a high-impact, highly cross-functional role for someone who thrives at the intersection of operational strategy, emerging technology, and organizational change.
This role is right for you if you're energized by building from 0 to 1, comfortable managing complex workflows across multiple teams, and know how to earn trust with business leaders while navigating technical complexity.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Own the delivery of individual AI and automation workflows from scoping through launch — coordinating vendor builds, technical integrations, and UAT
- Translate automation opportunities identified by the AI Champions into structured project plans with clear milestones, owners, and success criteria
- Configure and QA automation tools (e.g., setting up workflows, testing prompts, validating outputs) at a level of depth that allows you to troubleshoot issues and speak credibly with technical partners
- Maintain accurate project status tracking across your portfolio, proactively surfacing risks and tradeoffs to leadership before they become blockers
- Act as the advocate for how frontline agents and ops staff actually experience deployed AI workflows — identifying friction points, usability gaps, and adoption barriers during and after rollout
- Partner with AI Champions and team managers to gather ground-level feedback and translate it into actionable iteration requests for vendors or technical teams
- Ensure that automation outputs (e.g., AI-drafted responses, flagged tickets, suggested actions) meet a quality bar that builds rather than erodes trust with end users
- Document workflow behavior, edge cases, and known limitations so that Champions and managers can support their teams independently
- Contribute to the playbooks, SOPs, and training materials that allow AI Champions to expand and manage use cases without ongoing CoE involvement
- Coordinate across Operations pillars to identify where a workflow built in one team can be replicated or adapted elsewhere, reducing duplicative effort
- Participate in prioritization conversations by providing ground-level input on project complexity, timeline feasibility, and adoption readiness
- 5–8+ years of experience in program management, operations, or a closely related role, ideally in a high-growth or technology-forward environment
- You have demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects involving cross-functional stakeholders (vendors, compliance, technical teams, business ops)
- You have hands-on familiarity with AI or automation tools in an operational context — you've worked with, configured, or closely supported the deployment of tools like chatbots, copilots, workflow automation platforms, or similar
- You have the ability to conduct functional QA on AI outputs and automation workflows — you know what "good" looks like and can articulate why something isn't working
- You ahve strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear project documentation, SOPs, and stakeholder updates
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Experience in healthcare, mental health, or other regulated industries where compliance and security requirements add meaningful complexity to AI adoption
- Exposure to prompt configuration, workflow logic builders, or no-code/low-code automation platforms
