Responsibilities

As a Parts Runner, you'll be an essential part of our Residential HVAC Service team, helping technicians stay productive and ensuring materials arrive where they're needed, when they're needed.

→Keep the Team Moving: Pick up and deliver HVAC parts, equipment, and materials between suppliers, warehouses, and job sites.
→Ensure Accuracy: Verify parts and materials against purchase orders and delivery tickets to help maintain accurate records.
→Support Field Technicians: Assist with loading, unloading, and handling tools, equipment, and materials as needed.
→Keep Operations Organized: Return unused materials, warranty items, and purchasing documentation to the warehouse.
→Help Manage Inventory: Perform routine inventory counts and report shortages, damaged items, or discrepancies.
→Communicate Effectively: Stay in contact with dispatchers, technicians, and warehouse personnel to coordinate deliveries and material needs.
→Maintain Vehicle Readiness: Keep your company vehicle clean, safe, and well-maintained, and complete routine vehicle inspections.
→Work Safely: Follow all company safety policies and procedures while representing GSM Services professionally.
