Delivering the dentist’s postoperative instructions. Maintaining dental equipment. Maintaining a stock of dental equipment and placing orders for dental supplies. Creating unique impressions and temporary restorations from initial impressions. Requirements An authorized dental assisting program may award certification or an associate degree. Accreditation for dental x-rays. Equivalent to a high school diploma. Program for dental hygiene completion. Experience in a range of computer duties. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Professional demeanor and demeanor consistency. Capable of offering excellent patient care.
