Perform routine examinations of patients Understand patients’ health conditions based on symptoms and tests Suggest treatments based on findings Give appropriate health advice Set diagnosis based on medical expertise and knowledge Access patient’s medical history Prescribe different medical treatments, medications and drugs Collaborate with other physicians and team members Adhere to laws, rules and regulations Refer patients to specialists if necessary Develop safe and trusting relationships with patients Stay up to date with latest research, technologies and best practices Work with the primary healthcare team to provide patients with primary medical care services within the standard of care for Internal Medicine patients. Order laboratory and radiology tests and refer patients to specialists when appropriate and called for. Analyze reports, test results, medical records and examinations to diagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options. Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions. Discuss potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients and ensure that all allergy information is up-to-date before prescribing medication/treatment. Provide advice to patients for lifestyle and diet changes that may improve their health or help to treat the health issue they are experiencing. Adhere to departmental policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws. Record complete, timely and legible medical records. Requirements Previous working experience as a Physician for 3-5 year(s) Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) Valid license to practice the profession In-depth knowledge of examination procedures, methodologies and diagnostics Outstanding knowledge of medication and drugs and related side effects and contraindications Outstanding patient management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to details Good leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Dexterity and detail oriented abilities. Patience and compassion. The ability and willingness to stay up to date on advancements, innovations, and developments in the field.
