Job Summary Prepare and cook a variety of menu items to meet quality and presentation standards. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to maintain efficient service and ensure compliance with food safety practices. Number of Positions 9 Main Duties Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, marinating and portioning according to recipes and production needs. Cook menu items on grills, stovetops, ovens and other kitchen equipment while monitoring temperatures and cooking times. Follow standardized recipes and plating guidelines to ensure consistent quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment and storage areas; follow sanitation and hygiene procedures. Receive and inspect deliveries, rotate stock, track inventory levels and minimize food waste. Coordinate with chefs and front-of-house staff to expedite orders, accommodate special requests and support menu changes. Requirements Secondary school diploma or equivalent preferred; culinary training or certificate is an asset. Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment. Knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation practices and temperature control procedures. Ability to read and follow recipes, production sheets and plating instructions accurately. Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights and work in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively as part of a kitchen team.
