Operate machines or equipment, or use hand tools to cut, shape, splice and fit plastic materials to form parts and assemblies Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures Using tools to make or repair parts and products Assemble composite materials on patterns to form parts and assemblies using bonding agents Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process Interpreting technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions Operate spray-gun unit to apply resin mixtures to metal or wooden mould to form plastic products Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components Keeping a clean and tidy workspace Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications Meeting all safety requirements of the company and industry Align material and put together parts to build more complex units Identifying any defective items and handling them according to established procedures Keep records of production quantities and time Requirements High school diploma; Higher degree from a technical school will be appreciated Attention to detail Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc. Experience as a laborer in the same company may be required for assemblers, finishers and inspectors Ability in using tools (e.g. clamps) and machines (e.g. presses) Excellent hand-eye coordination Good understanding of quality control principles Ability to lift at least 50 lbs Good communication skills (verbal and written) Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition Benefits Required Years of experience: At least 1 year of experience Salary: $25.50 - $34.62 per hour Do follow us on our social media platforms for more job updates We are a Canadian Immigration, Recruitment & Settlement company based in Canada with multiple branches across the globe.
