We are hiring an FP&A Manager to our Wellz team in Brazil!
We are looking for an FP&A Manager to run Wellz's financial planning and analysis engine: monthly close, forecasting, and the annual budget cycle. This is an operating role, not a reporting role. You will own the mechanics that turn raw numbers into decisions leadership can act on: the expense close process end-to-end, and the analytical backbone behind Wellz's quarterly forecast and annual budget. Some of these cadences already have a documented playbook; others you'll help formalize as you run them, because this function is still building its own operating rhythm—including the AI agents Wellz Finance already uses for parts of this work, which you will be expected to pick up and extend.
Wellz by Wellhub is our corporate mental health platform, delivering measurable, science-backed results for companies and their employees. By combining technology with human expertise, Wellz offers personalized journeys including online therapy, group sessions, interactive content, and 24/7 specialist chat support. Through data-driven insights and strategic dashboards, we also empower HR leaders to monitor wellbeing, boost engagement, and demonstrate ROI, making quality mental health support accessible and scalable. We move fast, operate with high ownership, and believe that great strategy and disciplined execution are inseparable.
- Monthly Close: Review and correct agent-drafted P&L narratives (Actual vs. Budget vs. Forecast vs. Prior Year) across revenue, net revenue, margin, and engagement KPIs. Own the version presented in the monthly document to Wellhub leadership.
- Expense Close: Direct the monthly expense close. Your agents reconcile actuals against budget across suppliers and payroll to surface variances; you validate the calls and decide what flags reach leadership.
- Executive Reporting: Own the monthly result presented up Wellhub's corporate FP&A chain, and personally defend the closing materials reviewed with the Wellz CEO before they go out.
- Quarterly Forecast: Own Wellz's part of Wellhub's quarterly forecast cycle. Your agents pre-populate templates from Revenue and Finance Operations inputs; you coordinate missing data, correct errors, and defend the numbers internally before submission.
- Annual Budget: Serve as the analytical engine of Wellz's annual budget process on the cost and FP&A side. Direct the model, stress-test scenarios run by agents, and prepare materials defending the plan up Wellhub's finance chain, building process checklists for future years.
- Value Management: Translate financial data into proactive recommendations (flagging where margin, cost, or investment decisions need to change before being asked).
- Live the mission: inspire and empower others by genuinely caring for your own wellbeing and your colleagues. Bring wellbeing to the forefront of work, and create a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable taking care of themselves, taking time off, and finding work-life wellness.
- Experience: 3+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar analytical finance role, ideally within a fast-growing or scale-up environment.
- AI-Driven Mindset: Proven ability to leverage AI to work faster (building models, catching errors, drafting first-pass analysis). Using and extending Wellz's existing AI agent toolkit is a core requirement.
- Financial Modeling: Strong hands-on ability to build and maintain your own models in spreadsheets under time pressure without outsourcing your numbers.
- Executive Communication: Skill in translating complex P&Ls into clear, actionable narratives for senior leadership within minutes.
- Operating Discipline: Ability to execute fixed monthly and quarterly cadences with precision while building playbooks on the fly where documented processes don't yet exist.
- High-Stakes Comfort: Proven accountability to senior stakeholders across two entities (Wellz and Wellhub corporate finance) under tight deadlines with zero margin for last-minute surprises.
- Language: Fluent English is mandatory for regular interfacing with Wellhub's global finance organization
