The Solution Design and Implementation Specialist (m/f/x) supports the development and deployment of UPS technology solutions to enhance customer shipping, visibility, and billing processes. This entry-level role involves assisting in solution design, implementation, and troubleshooting while collaborating with internal teams and customers. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in technology, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.

Responsibilities

→Assist in analyzing customer requirements and contribute to solution design
→Support the implementation of UPS Enterprise Technology (PLD/API & Access Point Solutions) within customer IT infrastructure
→Conduct preliminary testing and troubleshooting to ensure solution functionality
→Provide documentation and basic training for customers on implemented solutions
→Collaborate with senior specialists and internal teams to align solutions with business needs
→Stay informed about UPS technology offerings and industry trends

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
Strong interest in technology and willingness to develop expertise in solution design
Basic experience with Microsoft Office; exposure to Visual Studio, BizTalk, or MS SQL is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and take initiative in learning new technologies
Exposure to project management concepts is an advantage
At least six months employment track at current position in UPS (for internal candidates only)
