Job Description

The post holder will be a member of the Prospect Experience and Admissions team with responsibility for the unit’s day-to-day operations and procedures for the admissions of students to university. This includes implementation of offer processing in speedy, accurate, consistent and transparent manner to provide a positive prospect experience. The job role requires high standards of data quality at all times. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Processing the local and international application to generate offers using the CRM and Student Administrative System with the aim of 100% accuracy. This includes assessing qualifications, authenticity of results and defining entry requirements.

  2. Ensure that correct procedures and policy are followed when dealing with application with underage, fraudulent and criminal convictions. 

  3. Maintain a high standard of knowledge and awareness of the Higher Education sector, relevant legislation, university’s entry requirements and admissions processes.

  4. Provide daily application report on the application trend to respective stakeholders. 

  5. Keep track of current application status to ensure highest conversions of applications and student enrolments. 

  6. Handle all administrative processes and admission of students including filing, archiving of data, reporting, etc.

  7. Attend to applicants’ enquiries independently in timely and professional manner. 

  8. Establish close liaison with education consultants, academic department, international office, scholarship unit, registry and finance department. 

  9. Assisting in recruitment activities such as Open Day, Education Exhibition, etc. 

  10. Any other tasks deemed relevant in assisting the admissions & recruitment processes

Education & Qualifications 

Essential:

  • Diploma/ Degree (or equivalent qualification) 

Desirable:

  • Degree

 

Experience

Essential:

  • Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.

Desirable:

  • At least some experience in an admissions environment

 

Competencies, Skills & Knowledge

Essential:

  • Self-motivated, target oriented and independent with high degree of commitment to meet deadlines and objectives.

  • Adequate written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must have knowledge of word processing & Microsoft Office suite.

  • Ability to work and cooperate in a team oriented environment.

  • Has technical experiences with Office 365 and creative in video/written content for effective delivery if information.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with CRM system.

  • Good Microsoft Excel knowledge and skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure on simultaneous tasks.

 

Special Factors (if applicable) 

Essential:

  • Enjoys being part of a university campus, developing the role as the campus grows, and willing to take a 'hands on' approach from the outset. 

  • Willing to work in Putrajaya.
