Mental Health Technician – Urgent Recovery Center (URC)

Are you passionate about helping individuals through mental health and substance use challenges? Join our team as a Mental Health Technician (MHT) and play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment for individuals receiving services through our Urgent Recovery Center (URC).


What You'll Do:

  • Provide direct support, supervision, and engagement for individuals experiencing behavioral health and/or substance use crises.
  • Utilize trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques to promote safety and stabilization.
  • Support individuals in developing coping skills, identifying strengths, and connecting with community resources.
  • Observe and report changes in behavior, mood, and safety concerns to clinical staff.
  • Assist with crisis response, recovery activities, and daily program operations.
  • Complete accurate documentation and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and agency standards.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to support recovery and positive outcomes.


What We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, crisis services, residential treatment, or related human services fields preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or crisis situations.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, person-centered care.
