Job Description:	Horry-Georgetown Technical College is seeking applications for a Defensive Driving Instructor certified by the National Safety Council (NSC) to deliver informative courses that promote safe driving practices. The instructor will facilitate NSC-approved curriculum. Responsibilities: Deliver NSC Defensive Driving courses in accordance with approved curriculum and guidelines. Teach drivers with varying skill levels and driving behaviors Understand how to identify driver’s strengths and weaknesses Deliver an engaging, positive learning experience Motive students to be safe and responsible drivers Assess student understanding and provide constructive feedback. Maintain accurate attendance and course completion records. Stay current with NSC updates, traffic laws and best practices in driver safety.

Minimum Requirements:	Current NSC Defensive Driving Instructor Certification Experience in public speaking with the ability to lead effective classroom discussions High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:	College Degree Prior teaching or training experience Familiarity with technology and basic troubleshooting
