Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop and implement the Site HSE Management Plan, acting as the principal HSE advisor to the Site Manager;
- →Monitor all construction activities for compliance with safety requirements, conduct regular site inspections, and verify implementation of risk assessments;
- →Supervise HSE compliance during heavy lifting operations, tower erection, WTG unloading, and electrical energization activities;
- →Implement project environmental requirements, monitoring waste management, hazardous materials handling, dust, noise, and spill prevention measures;
- →Develop and maintain Emergency Response Plans, coordinate emergency drills, and ensure readiness for war-related emergencies and UXO (Unexploded Ordnance) awareness;
- →Lead investigations into accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents, performing root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions;
- →Evaluate subcontractor HSE performance, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and Permit-to-Work systems;
- →Develop site HSE induction programs, deliver Toolbox Talks, and verify competency and certification of site personnel.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline;
- Minimum 8 years of HSE experience on large construction projects, with at least 3 years as an HSE Manager;
- Proven experience in wind farm construction, power transmission projects, high-voltage substations, and heavy civil construction;
- NEBOSH International Diploma, NEBOSH Construction Certificate, or equivalent is preferred;
- Strong professional competencies in high-voltage electrical safety, heavy lifting operations, incident investigation, and environmental management;
- International project experience is highly preferred;
- Strong command of Ukrainian and English. German is a plus.
