Director Taxation

HRSI is conducting an executive search on behalf of a reputable client in the FMCG sector for the position of Director Taxation. 

Location: Lahore (On-Site)
Industry: Manufacturing / FMCG / Food & Beverages
Experience: 15+ years of progressive experience in taxation, finance, and audit across leading organizations.
Education: Minimum 16 years of education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master's preferred). Candidates holding ACCA or CA qualifications will be given priority consideration.

The Director (Finance/Taxation) will serve as a strategic finance leader and business partner, overseeing taxation, corporate finance, and compliance functions. The role requires strong commercial acumen, deep expertise in tax accounting, and proven leadership in managing large cross-functional teams within diversified industries.

• →Lead taxation strategy, compliance, and adjudication across group entities.
• →Manage corporate finance operations, including budgeting, cash flows, feasibility studies, and portfolio optimization.
• →Oversee external audits, liaise with auditors, legal consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• →Drive tax planning, refund claims, and representation before appellate forums and tax departments.
• →Ensure compliance with IFRS, IAS, and local regulatory frameworks.
• →Provide reliable tax and finance advice to management and board for strategic decision-making.
• →Develop and implement policies for working capital management, financial reporting, and risk assessment.
• →Mentor and guide junior finance professionals, fostering a culture of compliance and excellence.
