Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems and associated equipment.
- →
Inspect and service chillers, AHUs, FCUs, package units, split ACs, VRF/VRV systems, ventilation fans, and exhaust systems.
- →
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults in HVAC equipment.
- →
Check refrigerant pressures, temperatures, airflow, and system operating conditions.
- →
Perform refrigerant charging, recovery, leak detection, and evacuation in accordance with approved procedures.
- →
Inspect and clean filters, coils, fans, belts, bearings, dampers, drains, and other HVAC components.
- →
Troubleshoot compressors, motors, thermostats, sensors, control valves, contactors, relays, and other components.
- →
Check and maintain chilled-water systems, pumps, valves, and associated piping where applicable.
- →
Assist with installation, testing, commissioning, and start-up of HVAC equipment.
- →
Read and interpret HVAC drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.
- →
Respond to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests and restore equipment to normal operation.

Record maintenance activities, equipment readings, faults, spare parts used, and repair work performed.
- →
Coordinate with supervisors, BMS operators, electricians, and other maintenance teams.
- →
Maintain HVAC tools, testing instruments, spare parts, and work areas in good condition.
- →
Follow manufacturer recommendations and preventive maintenance schedules.
- →
Comply with company policies, permit-to-work procedures, and health and safety requirements.
- →
Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working practices at all times.
