JUNIOR MANAGEMENT POSITION – TREASURY/TAX & COLLECTION

Our Client, a leading Renewable Energy Company, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following role:

This position will report to Manager Finance & Compliance and will be responsible for the treasury operations, tax compliance and receivables collection of the Company, ensuring optimal cash-management, statutory tax compliance, and timely collection from power off-takers, clients and counterparties.

• →Manage daily cash positioning, bank relationships, fund-flow planning and short-term liquidity across projects, ensuring sufficient liquidity at all times.
• →Operate and monitor bank accounts, letters of credit, bank guarantees, performance bonds and project-finance / syndicate facilities; act as the primary point of contact with the banking consortium.
• →Plan and execute tax payments (income tax, sales tax, federal excise, withholding, CPP / GST on services, dividend tax) and ensure timely filing of all statutory returns; manage advance-tax planning in line with projections.
• →Oversee receivables collection from CPPA / off-takers, DISCOs, EPC clients, vendors and other counterparties; drive ageing-analysis reviews and dispute-resolution follow-ups.
• →Prepare cash-flow forecasts, treasury dashboards and debt-service schedules; flag liquidity gaps and propose mitigations to the Finance & Compliance Manager.
• →Ensure compliance with foreign-exchange regulations (SBP FE Manual), prudential regulations and KYC / AML requirements of banking partners.
• →Supervise the Banking & Recon sub-function and coordinate with Accounts & Reporting on reconciliation, tax provisioning and audit support.
• →Support financing transactions — term-loan drawdowns, refinancing, working-capital lines — including documentation with lenders and Trustees.

• Minimum 16 years of education preferably masters from a renowned HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder preferably in the relevant field.

• Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 1-2 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position or in one level below position.

• Strong command of corporate treasury, cash-management and banking products (LCs, guarantees, forward cover, syndicated facilities).
• Solid understanding of Pakistan tax law (Income Tax, Sales Tax, Federal Excise, Punjab Sales Tax) and SBP / FEBC regulations.
• Prior treasury / tax exposure in a power, IPP, renewable-energy or infrastructure project environment is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with ERP / accounting systems and banking portals; advanced MS Excel skills are essential.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills; ability to work under tight deadlines during monthly / annual closing cycles.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with banks, tax authorities and internal stakeholders.
• A team-oriented leader with the ability to mentor the Banking & Recon team.
