The Visa Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all visa processing operations across multiple client segments, including maritime professionals, principals, travel partners, and direct clients. The role ensures operational efficiency, compliance, and high service standards while managing a team and handling complex and VIP cases.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- → Lead and manage end-to-end visa processing operations across different markets and client segments
- → Oversee visa applications for seafarers, principals, sub-agents, and walk-in clients
- → Handle complex, escalated, and VIP visa cases with a high level of professionalism
- → Ensure compliance with embassy requirements, documentation standards, and regulatory guidelines
- → Build and maintain strong relationships with embassies, partners, and travel agencies
- → Monitor team performance, productivity, and service quality metrics
- → Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and turnaround time
- → Provide strategic direction and operational guidance to the visa team
- → Prepare reports, performance analysis, and updates for management
- → Lead, mentor, and develop team members to improve capability and performance
Requirements

- At least 5 years of experience in visa processing or travel industry
- Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of visa processing, embassy requirements, and documentation
- Experience handling maritime or seafarer accounts is highly preferred
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Experience handling VIP clients and complex cases
