Group Reservations Coordinator - Hyatt: Tempe Mission Palms Hotel

The Group Reservations Coordinator is responsible for the administration and coordination of all group guest room reservations and inventory throughout the convention services process. This position serves as the primary contact for assigned groups from turnover through arrival, ensuring accurate room block management and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Establish initial contact with customer at file turnover.

• Maintain relationship with customer, up to arrival, for all matters pertaining to guest room usage, including obtaining no-show and wash history, obtaining and managing changes to rooming lists, and tracking and managing the inventory for individual call-in groups.

• Prepare and submit group rooms recap reports, including the tracking/posting of group comps, and rebate/commission calculations.

Group Reservation Coordinators will work Monday – Friday. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Opera Cloud/Reserve
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time-management and follow-through skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal hotel departments.
• Understanding of hotel room inventory management, group room blocks, and revenue/yield management principles.
• Hotel Front Office or Reservations experience strongly preferred.
